Currently accepting appointments Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays 3:00PM – 5:00 PM
Sunflower Farm is home to Sunflower Veterinary Clinic and Integrative Animal Health Service. Appointments can be made for Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays 3:00PM – 5:00 PM, and the doctor also makes house and farm calls.
We do NOT do after hours emergencies, and if you have need of hospital care for your pet, horse, or other large animal, please contact Swansboro Animal Hospital Emergency Clinic 910-839-5934 or your regular equine or farm animal after hours vet clinic.
VetMinute appointments include quick things that need attention when you don’t want to wait for an appointment at a regular clinic – general exams and vaccinations, ear infections, broken toenails, small wounds that need minimal care, cat bite abscesses, heartworm and feline leukemia tests, routine lab work, fecals and deworming, questions about bumps and lumps, itchy skin – all the small things that you might imagine visiting a CVS Minute Clinic for yourself.
More involved cases, such as chronic coughs that might need X-rays, illnesses that require hospitalization, or emergencies such as being hit by a car and injuries such as broken legs, all require diagnostics and therapy that a VetMinute is not designed to do. If the doctor finds that your pet’s situation requires more intensive diagnostics or treatment, she will refer you to a nearby veterinary hospital for further care.
In addition to VetMinute care, we have both in clinic appointments available and make house and farm calls for routine wellness care and for integrative modalities such as acupuncture, herbal/nutritional consults, homeopathic care and massage therapy. We hope to add a therapy laser soon.
